I hope this note finds you well.

First, THANK YOU for sending in your warm wishes and making my ruby jubilee memorable. You probably saw videos of me crying while watching the video montage, it’s not everyday that I receive so much love from the world over. I’m very humbled, honored, and still in disbelief that so many of you took time off from your busy lives and shared your blessings and wishes. Here’s the full video montage designed and complied by Prateeksha.

The weekend continued with a surprise birthday party and a staycation in a gorgeous airstream (see attached pic) by the Pacific coast. I cannot thank Prateeksha ❤️ enough for planning and executing everything to perfection. We spent two nights glamping, hiking, talking, visiting the local beaches, and enjoying views of the Pacific while driving down CA-1. It’s our first vacation together in a few years, and it could not have been more perfect.

I turned 40 a week back and it’s almost a decade since Prateeksha and I moved to the US. To date, it remains the craziest thing we’ve done as a couple - leaving behind our home, hometown, family, and community of 30 years. I’m grateful to everyone who looked out for us, both here and back home, and helped us settle down and find our groove. I’m very excited for what’s ahead and can’t wait to conquer the next decade with even more enthusiasm and passion.

Music has taken on a whole new dimension in my life lately. First through my guru, some occasional writing, and through Sangeethaamsha - our 501(c)(3) where we hosted 100+ talented classical musicians for intimate concerts. I’ve restarted performing for small audiences locally, and begun collaborating with some great local artists and music mentors.
