on Jan 21st, 2007After Microsoft its now Google thats being picked on

Call it a trend or envy, but seems after a company makes enough moolah, people and critics alike pick on each and every one of its mistakes. It was Microsoft that bore the brunt these couple of years and now slowly Google and Yahoo are joining the bandwagon. Microsoft products being speculated is cliche but Google and Yahoo? I think its a vicious circle.

Think about it. What has Microsoft done horribly wrong in the past couple of years? Nothing? Exactly. Which only makes me make a theory behind the reason of such defamation. Critics/people are all praises for any work that comes out of organisations, but after a while when the business takes on new verticals, people are more worried about how their own products work with each other and also if newer products have redireceted the company’s efforts to newer domains ignoring the products that got them the lime light.

Such was the case with Microsoft and now Google. After Google brought many products out in the market, people were more worried about how the search engine is still working and finding holes in their communication/collaboration lags  within their applications. The last complaint was the personal data surfacing on notebook search, failure to link Goffice products in attachments arriving in mails and now the gmail outages. very soon even Google bitching will become cliche, I guess people just need to talk hook or crook. Dont you think?
