Hey. I am Ritesh M Nayak. Graduate student at the International Institute of Information Technology, Bangalore. My interests primarily include Information Retrieval, Distributed Systems and ICT for Development. I love to architect and engineer intuitive solutions. Love Programming. Obsessed about being around and working with intelligent people. Eternally hungry for knowledge.

Experience

Previously, worked for Informatica Business Solutions as an Intern
Worked 2 years at Sonata Software Limited doing Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing.
Currently an intern with the Advanced Development and Prototyping group at Microsoft Research India.

Non Academic

A big music fan and listen to all genres of music (metal rules !!). I am also a trained classical singer and a self taught guitarist.
Not a very big writer, but I attempt to pen my thoughts down on my blogs.
Feel that life is too short to consume all of worldly knowledge.
Tend to get philosophical during conversations.
Deeply interested in history, sociology and economics read up on these when I can.
Avid reader of works of non fiction (see presence page for library link).
